Community Health Services helps people who fall through the cracks of the traditional healthcare system in Mecklenburg County. We provide access to medical and dental care for more than 10,000 uninsured and underinsured clients each year.
Community Health Services relies on tax-deductible donations and in-kind contributions. These donations are vitally important to continue our programs and services. Contributions come from individuals, faith and civic organizations, foundations, corporations and an annual fundraiser and gala.
Help support the programs and services of Community Health Services. Here are just some of the ways your donations help:
- $50 will provide a month's supply of diabetic testing strips for a low-income, uninsured client.
- $100 will provide an interpreter for a Vietnamese refugee.
- $250 will provide a visit to the dentist for a child in pain from severe tooth decay.
- $500 will provide comprehensive medical care for an uninsured client.
- $1000 will provide a home visiting nurse to help a low-income, first-time mother have a healthy baby.
